Inside Sales Representative - Companion Animal


Location: Remote

Job Summary and Purpose:

The Ceva Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a self-motived, results-oriented, and a team player who grows business with targeted veterinary customers within a geographic assignment. They sell the full-line of Ceva companion animal products in veterinary clinics via virtual communications such as outbound phone calls, video meetings, and emails. They work with internal and external customers to create a desired outcome and deliver sales results. Responsibilities and Key Duties:

  • Prepares and executes the call and manages sales results and outcomes through partnership with the sales and marketing to target specific customers and campaigns
  • Develop a sales plan to meet quarterly and daily sales objectives in alignment with the sales and marketing strategy
  • Develops and preserves relationships with external and internal customers
  • Plan and execute a call route to build and preserve strong relationships with customers
  • Partners closely and communicates regularly with the sales director, regional managers, cross-functional departments, and territory managers to achieve company objectives through inside sales production
  • Understands and maintains key focus product technical and commercial messaging to deliver on every sales call
  • Leverage Ceva’s CRM platform through the proficient and compliant use of Salesforce
  • Delivery virtual lunch and learns as appropriate
  • Self-monitors daily activities to meet established Key Performance Indicators
  • Establishes a team culture of solidarity and performance

Qualifications:

Education –Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a previous role required.

Work Experience – 1-2 years sales experience in a corporate setting. ISR experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must possess the ability to read, speak and understand English. Must be able to see, hear and speak. Must be able to conduct the role via computer and phone a minimum of 40 hours a week. Live within reasonable driving distance of an international airport and be able to commute by vehicle or plane when necessary for sales meetings, field visits, home office meetings, and conferences. Must be able to lift shipments containing products or literature to receive and ship samples.

Working Conditions:

If working remotely, has a professional home office environment to conduct business over the phone with minimal to no background noise or distractions. Depending on where this person lives, they should be able to work the hours that match the working hours of their assigned territory.

Travel Required:

Occasional overnight travel required for sales meetings, field visits, home office meetings. Estimated travel percentage is 5-15%.
